Fatboy Slim (Norman Cook) brought his party style to Swindon Oasis on 3rd December as part of his latest 5 date tour, supported by Doorly and Jackbeats who founded the perfect opening atmosphere but the chemistry stepped up to another dimension when the world renowned DJ Fatboy Slim took to the stage. The opening visual back drop was nothing short of being magnificent, energetic, life pulsing, echoing a throbbing feeling of festival fun, an electric vibe breezed through Oasis, as the evening played out it can only be described as a surreal experience. Cook has performed in some pretty spectacular places, but his larger than life personality and obvious love of what he does made the Oasis feel like a very different place, he brought the venue to life. He puts out a genuine connection, showing his passion to the audience, an alchemist with techno beats, effortlessly orchestrating a celestial journey, his visit to Swindon has to be one of the finest concerts at the Oasis to date, the crown for excellence should fit firmly at his name.
