When we were asked by Matt Fox to create the branding image for Swindon The Opera we were really excited to be part of such a fantastic project which was led by Matt and Janice Thompson of the JTP Trust, after the initial whirl of excitement we set down to hard work and with our brief in hand we set about bringing the elements together to craft into the art work that would become the head of promoting Swindon The Opera! Along the way we have also produced the website and photography of the cast and creatives, we were especially thrilled to be photographing narrator of the opera Polly Leech who plays the wonderful Diana Dors, paying respect to Diana and capturing a little of the Dors sparkle within Polly was a challenge but was a most rewarding shoot. Being involved in this project has brought Darren and I much satisfaction and fulfilment not just as photographers but as creatives as well, bringing together our love of design and photography for this commercial project, we were able to advise and take on board the brief, being involved intimately in meetings and working closely with Matt meant we were able to deliver and drive down to the essence of the opera that was produced for branding of which you can see in the image below.
