Strange how life brings something to your doorstep, a missed moment that represents itself once more, I may sound cliche but I certainly do believe we are meant to cross paths with some people, they shine a little light on our own pathway sharing elements of themselves that have an effect on our own lives. This band had a profound effect on my life, one year ago and 5 days I was taken ill at Sonisphere festival and missed the chance to see Vintage Trouble perform, a year on and I found myself at Summer Breeze photographing them as headline band with a photographers pit to share with just my husband, to say I felt privileged is an understatement. If you don’t know about this band then go check them out, if you do like them as much as I do then you know exactly what I mean about the emotional power they command on stage and not forgetting their outstanding skill as musicians, that put out a stage presence that is genuine, passionate and well hot! They are easy to believe, their performance was true and I believed what they had to say – they leave you hungry for more, their songs have a voice that must be heard and a heartbeat that can be felt.

Hi Kath
Thank you for making me cry again! As a photographer I often feel moved by what I am involved with, Vintage Trouble were a combination of a flash back from the year before and feeling of awe at just how fantastic they were and I truly felt they were the real thing and believed them, a wonderful thing for any musician to be able to do, glad you feel something when looking at our images, hope you enjoyed the festival its a brilliant weekend put together by lovely people, I cant tell you how much that means to me – look after yourself and keep smiling,

There you go again Puttyfoot – capturing the flame at its brightest, I do hope Vintage Triouble see these, they’re pretty special.
Fabulous images, and very well said. Couldn’t make Summer Breeze but by next week I will have been to 4, and just maybe, 5 VT gigs this summer. And quite frankly, that is nowhere near enough!!
Tim ;o))
Hi Stonepoem 😀
You are way too kind, but glad you see something in the images, I really got swept away by them and their personalities, they were truly vintage and had bags of integrity and passion!
