Uncle Frank were not part of the official line up for Summer Breeze festival 2012, but when one of the acts were unable to play Andy Loddington soon found a fantastic replacement in the quirky, energetic, humorous form of Uncle Frank. Never have a I laughed so much in the photographers pit, ok so they made me laugh whilst singing about the love of food and big women, songs with cleverly worded lyrics that all seemed a perfect fit to me, but with their daring sense of humour, subject matter within the songs and a presentation that could leave you thinking this is just tomfoolery, but this was no slap stick form of entertainment, behind the show is a band of seriously talented musicians fronted by Fun Loving Criminals Drummer Frank Benbini that have the confidence to do something different and dare to have fun with their creativity. Looking forward to catching up with the fellas again at some point, they guys were a real breath of fresh air, if you don’t have an idea who they are or what they are about check out their website: http://www.myspace.com/unclefrankmusic Who do you love? Uncle Frank that’s who!

That’s really cool Nigel, I sort of had a soft spot for Mr Benbini – very talented and lovely looking fella! Never been to One Love but it sounds wonderful – hope you have the most amazing time, love to you, enjoy and give Frank a kiss from me, I don’t suppose he has sung about big girls and had one in the pit before 😀
Look forward to hearing how you get on 🙂

Hi UF, thanks for dropping by to Puttyfoot blog, we loved your work at Summer Breeze was really entertaining! I will be in touch about our work, thanks, Lisa 🙂
Uncle Frank is such a nice bloke. His other project Radio Riddler with Fast from FLC is awesome. They have done some great dubplates (reggae remixes) for lots of people and luckily enough did a couple for my band. I am going to see Radio Riddler at “one love festival” this coming weekend. The line-up looks amazing and the love and peace that surrounds the one love ethos is one I will embrace. Great photo’s by Puttyfoot as always.
