How does one separate a strong character as Lady Grantham from Downton Abbey to the woman who stood on the stage above us, on a gloriously sunny day at Wychwood Festival we were privileged to see a magical performance, quite a surreal experience indeed! Enough of Elizabeth’s fame from the much acclaimed Downton Abbey series, but lets take a look at the music and the band she is part of. A warm wash of country influenced sounds with a dash of heat in the mix to keep it alive, an elegant and genuine performance by the band, and a touching moment when Elizabeth dedicated a song during the performance for her husband which she had written, a beautiful surprise awaits you – why not find out for yourself?
