It is quite interesting to work with a tribute artist, creating together PR imagery to offer homage to creativity of the past, at the core of any tribute artist is most importantly about sound they are re-producing which Sophia truly has managed to do, but also the image of her too representing Sade. Working towards carving out a visual statement of Sophia as Sade of my own led to me thinking what is at the heart of the mission I had undertaken, essentially to me it was a creative mission to embrace the sensual iconic atmosphere of what had gone before a nod in the direction to conjure up an ambience that had something magical that Sade possess.
