Darren and I love portrait photography, we enjoy passionately the sitting session, the communication and connections made with our subjects is I think an important part of the studio process and our creativity. We have an essence of our own portrait style, but recently Darren has been working on something a little bit different, trying to add more drama with an edge into an image, to reveal more of the personality by seeking out every grain of character within the portrait. Below are examples from a recent shoot at our studio with Paolo Di Canio, Manager of Swindon Town FC., the same image is edited with black & white and colour, which do you prefer and why?
